Local chains are finding it difficult to compete with huge shops and big box stores that provide better
services, mobility, and affordability. Another factor is digital technology, which is rapidly advancing. pricing
transparency by requiring buyers to compare costs at several stores before purchasing.
Amazon quickly merged e-commerce and traditional shopping, with Prime lockers at Whole Foods shops serving as
handy pickup locations for food and Amazon items. Regional chains’ survival hinges on their commitment to
tactics that bring brands quicker to customers by thickening customer relations and establishing tangible
in-store interactions like clinics and pharmaceutical centers that cannot be digitized.
